ABL fans finding Red Hoops through Google
Basketball fans hungry for news about the fledgling ASEAN Basketball League are finding Red Hoops via the Google search engine.
A Filipino fan using Google in the Philippines got Red Hoops as the first two search results with the search terms, “standing of philippine patriots in ABL“.
A Thai reader using Google in Thailand also received Red Hoops as the second result in a search with the terms “thailand tiger ABL“.
For Malaysian Google users, they are finding Red Hoops with the terms “kl dragons basketball abl“.
Singapore users of Google using the search terms “phlippine patriots standings kl dragons” found Red Hoops as the top result.
Red Hoops is an independent site with no official ties to the league and went live in October 2009. It is the first and only pan-ASEAN, English-language basketball site set up to cater to fans of the inaugural ABL.
