    Patriots, flexing their muscle!

  2. hanoi09 says:

any available videos these games to upload? i never seen patriots videos except after the games in slingers.

  3. jack says:

i missed that game!huh! i should have seen nakeia miller play.

  4. 3stars says:

nakeia miller played the whole game man.. hes good but gets easily frustrated, shakes his head everytime he miss a shot or a foul is not called in his favor..and if your a local player and you see your import looking down shaking his head you know your in a bad situation.

another win for the patriots, i doubted this team at first. i’m starting to be convinced..thailand tigers, brunei barracudas and satria muda teams needs a revamp on their line ups. i don’t think the filipino imports on these clubs are making any difference.

the slingers will be playing next and there is silence amongst its fans, still a dispirited crowd? come on slinger fans, make some noise!!! hey slingerrocks join me ;) ariba slingers!!!

  6. Kurt says:

Brunei baracudas,i dont each club in any ballgames can win with only 5 players. Filipino imports as well americans are ok, the thing is they cannot play 48mins eaach games, need som back up support from bench (brunei local).
Satria muda, with 1 filipino import, they need to get 2 more filipinos,as their import Hartman is the best import i ever seen in this ABL games.
Thailand tigers, they need 2 american strong C/F position, they cannot win games by backcourt only which occupy by 2 filipinos.
Slingers, i dont think they can beat any SEA ball clubs with less their import. I never seen any potential player in SLingers except Ng,im not sure if hes singaporean or not. This is proven well in SEA Games, SIngapore place 5. The magic four are Phils,Indo,Thai,Malaysia.
Patriots just added 2 players after theiir first 2 games.

  7. hanoi09-Sg says:

Brunei baracuddas is my 2nd favorite in ABL games after patriots, but they lack of benh player, i dont see any more potential players from local brunei team. No other talented players in ABL compare to Brunei PG L. Avenido, no other guard player can slash the painted than Adriano, no other swinmang small forward can cut tha Camaso.
KL Dragonn import Linganay crash the whole slingers, 1 against five.

  8. Eindhow says:

    @jack

Saw the game.. Nakeia Miller was a monster during the first half.. In the second he still was but was blocked 3 times in a row, but in 3 different plays (2 by Baclao 1 by Espiritu).. And it wasn’t just any block.. He was going strong to the hole but he was unlucky to face Baclao and Espiritu (yes, in the same play)..

  9. jack says:

@eindhow-he!he! so i heard that dixon was challenged when he overheard an understatement remarks by miler and hartman, that is why he exploded. How was it?

  10. hanoi09-Sg says:

satria muda have a talented import, the thing is, how bout their bench? i saw their games against slingers in SG stadium, one sided games.

  11. 3stars says:

satria muda has a decent bench its just that they dont have the court smarts that the pinoys have btw anybody has an update on espiritu?

  12. hanoi2009 says:

    what happen to espiritu?
Is he the same guy won NCAA-UAAP slumdunk champion?

  13. hanoi2009 says:

i will be watching Slingers vs TIgers now.
Hope Nwankwo will show his real game, same when he was awarded MVP during early days of his career. He always carry his ancestral land Nigeria not USA. Also the 2nd import + jersey no 55, with 2 filipino backcourt will deliver some outside shooting, Slingers in deep trouble

  14. 3stars says:

espiritu got hurt right after the first half hes down on the floor and never seen the rest of the game.. i guess hes fine hes a red warrior anyways. im still hoping they will add another player in preparation for the playoffs like a jimbo aquino or wilson from jru

  15. hanoi09-Sg says:

patriots are enough, since there no strong team in ABL that will give a good fight. Perhaps baracudas

  16. jack says:

slingers lost to thailand tigers-solution, add another filipino import.

  17. hano09 says:

As my previous statement, Slinegers will have hardtime playing with tigers,as a result they lost.
Slingers need to revamp all its players, remove all 8 local and get australian players, let them play as import for Philippines or brunei???it not go find other job.
im just new here in singapore and watch slinger games, but i think they are more better to work as an IT,or engineer, forget basketball

  18. hano09 says:

Sg SLingers are the most weakest team in ABL,but however, they have more followers that cheers them up each time in SI stadium.
Talentwise, singapore basketball are far behind in neighboring SEA

  19. hano09 says:

Slingerock, slinger have 2-3weeks off, what improvement you need, when they will comeback? i dont know what yout thinking.
Slingers tune up games vs coca cola, gilas, ginebra and san miguel,
those PBA teams win or loose, it snothing to them, but if Slingers win, very big for them, you develop wrong thinking men.
Slingers will place last on this ABL league if they dont replace all its back up players. Whats the use of 12 players if i seen only 9 players routating

  20. hano09 says:

If filipino are not lousy, they just doing their job.
You are basketball players and you watch games oftentimes men, dont make your imagination beyond this world.
    - Other comments i mentioned impact, are yo are basketball player or fans???? when u say impact even you score 20 points is nothing as u mentioned jian. Impact means on crucial minutes, let say you only score 4 points but when it most needed, or even if you dont score but you bring down ball or set up the play enable to give your team mate good looks to score
The impact im talking, one example is Larry Bird,Kevin Mchale of Boston Celtics!!!!!

  21. 3stars says:

@Slingerrocks..too many excuses, thats the only thing consistent in your team. they have the same line up from the start of the tournament and the last 2 teams who beat them added players late in the game.. and yeah both in the homecourt of slingers..

  22. tartakobsky says:

    its downhill for the slingers

  23. hano09 says:

Not only Singapore players to full occupy slingers team, but let singapore players play as import, perhaps to Satria muda or patriots??

  24. Carlo says:

Curious though that the KL Dragons has only one Filipino import (Rudy Lingganay)but is able to use him to the fullest. Since it seems that University of the East Red Warriors players are doing a good job in the ABL, may i recommend to the Barracudas or the Slingers that they take in either Paul Lee or Pari Llagas from the University of the East?

  25. 3stars says:

i think kl has 3 pinoy import lingganay, hugnatan and theres another guy whom i never heard before.. whoever gets paul lee will definitely have a better chance in playoffs.. but i guess smart gilas is also interested on getting paul lee

  26. tartakobsky says:

Lingganay, Hugnatan and Bandaying…..the 3 pinoy imports of KL Dragons

Both R.Lingganay and F.Bandaying are products of University of the East Red Warriors

Roel Hugnatan, played for Adamson University Falcons during his college days, is the younger brother of Reynel Hugnatan who plays for Alaska Aces in the PBA

  27. Carlo says:

Sorry, I forgot about Bandaying and Hugnatan. Any team would need Lee to neutralize Lingganay. A player like Lee is encourage to throw more three pointers when the opposing team is on a shooting spree.
