Slingers will have difficutly to win a game on a road.
so far all their win records are ato home!
Shooting may win some games, especially at home…but defense wins championships and games on the road when the ball dosn’t bounce your way.
I have been to all the home sgames so far. We won, but I don’t like the defense that I am seeing. A far cry from our efforts last year.
I am not sure if this is a coaching call, or a change in philosophy, standing 2 steps from you man, with your hands by your side, and looking at him shoot is NOT defense at this level.
Skinner especially and to some extent Avenido needs to reflect on this. The body on the boards and the fine shooting touch are appreciated….but the game at this level is played on both ends of the court.
KJ is our most honest in your face defensive player. The others try and then back off…but if one or two are not keeping up…thats where the opponents take and make their shots.
Better to play ALL locals and loose all games, than win a game with all imports are playing like a horse on both side of the court.
LAst year Nn is NOT a defensive player he has a hight but not the BODY.
I totally disagreed with DEFENSE. My philosophy is OFFENSE, you can be a good offensive player and a scorer and become a good defensive player, and not the other way around. One example is Scottie pippen!
What kind of defense are you talking about??
You may see a different scenario, while slingers think they have a good defense to any opponents last year, while infact asean players only allowing slngers to play and show what they got, in slingers it is very important,but for patriots,kl dragons,cobras (last year), it is nothing.
The more you put your self high, people are only laughing. We all know who are the top 3 in asean region!
